All who come to the capital of France are united by one thing – the desire to see the legendary city in all its glory. And if you still manage to profitably organize meals during the trip, then it will become perfect at all! Below we will talk a little about where to eat tasty and inexpensive in Paris and save on food while walking around the city. Budget Parisian eateries Le Grenier à Pain is a cozy place not far from Place de la Bastille, where traditional croissants from € 1 apiece and delicious sandwiches from € 3.20 are sold. Blé Sucré is a pleasant establishment across the street from Le Grenier à Pain. The menu has a large selection of pastries with cheese or sweet fillings. Cakes are especially popular (from 4 €). Bears & Raccoons is a cheap place to eat gluten free. The average check per person is 11 €. Boulangerie Alexine is one of the most famous places in Montmartre where you can eat cheaply in Paris. Croissants are sold inexpensively – at a price of 1 €, “pigtails” with different fillings – from 2,50 €, sandwiches – 4,50 €. Strada Café – A cafe near the Picasso Museum is great for brunch or lunch. The approximate cost of a breakfast consisting of a croque-madame sandwich and a large portion of salad is 14 €. Inexpensive Paris establishments Breizh Café A remarkable café in the historical Marais district is one of the places where you can have a cheap meal in Paris. It is very popular among both locals and tourists. Here you can eat magnificent French crepes (crêpes) with chocolate, strawberries, jam or ice cream at a price of 6.80 €. For lunch, you should try the traditional galette – an open pancake made of buckwheat flour with fillings of your choice. It can be Italian ham, French cheese, fish and, certainly, fried onions. Blend Hamburger Argout You can peek into this diner if you go from Place des Victoires towards Rue du Louvre. Very big burgers are made here (from € 9.90) – where without them! – and combined sets with a burger, any side dish and a drink (15.90-19 €). Blend Hamburger Argout does not know the end of visitors, there are always crowded and often there are lines. The undoubted advantage of this place is that it does not close in the interval from 12 to 23 hours, like some places in Paris. Therefore, you can drop in here in the evening to eat after a long and busy day.
Dose Dealer de café Cafe is located in the Latin Quarter, famous for being the University of Sorbonne, as well as many classic buildings and, of course, lively restaurants and eateries. The cafeteria attracts hungry Parisians and tourists with its desserts (from € 1.10), aromatic French coffee and freshly squeezed juice. There are always a lot of visitors at the Dose Dealer de café, and mostly young people. On hot summer days, guests of the cafe can comfortably sit in the shade at one of the tables outside, and in cool weather, warm themselves with a cup of hot chocolate in a small but cozy room.
Le Bar a Soupes A 10-minute walk from Place de la Bastille, you can find an original, inexpensive restaurant that specializes in French soups. The portions are large, so if you are not very hungry and also set out to save, order a half (the whole costs 6 €, a bun is attached to it). But you can eat here not only soups. It is possible to take a modest set dinner for 14 € (any day except Sunday): soup, salad / cheese plate / dessert and a drink. Approximately the same offer applies for takeaway, but only for 10 €. An interesting tasting: in Le Bar a Soupes you can try small portions of 3 different soups – for only 9 €.
Le Ruisseau Burger Joint Another burger in the center of Paris, a 10-minute walk from the Notre Dame Bridge. Large selection of huge juicy burgers at an average price of 11 €. For the tourist region of Mare, this cost of lunch is very low. Complete lunch with a burger, fries and a drink costs only 13 €. The cafe is well suited for a quick bite to eat and set off to explore the city further.
