In 2019, S. Pellegrino, the world leader among manufacturers of sparkling mineral water, celebrates its 120th anniversary. We went to Singapore for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019, organized by S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, to mark this important milestone with a special event dedicated to the future of gastronomy, in the company of the best international class chefs and opinion leaders.

September 27 was a historic day for S. Pellegrino: the first stone of the long-awaited new Plant of the Future was laid. The event began with a morning conference held for the Italian press in the presence of prominent representatives of the local authorities and with speeches by Sanpellegrino CEO Federico Sarzi Braga, Danish architect and tender winner Bjarke Ingels and mayor of San Pellegrino Terme Vittorio Millesi.

Only a few months are left before the final of the Eurasian stage of the S. Pellegrino Young Chef 2019-2020 competition, which means it is time to announce the jury, finalists and their mentors. The final competition is scheduled for October 9, 2019 and will be held at the Bolshoi Theater.
The Eurasian region, one of the twelve participating this year, will present ten young chefs who have to masterfully prepare dishes for the evaluation of the regional jury. Each participant in this competition passed a thorough selection of the ALMA team in accordance with the Golden Rules of the competition. Restaurant Mirazur from Menton, France, chef Mauro Colagreco, has won the S. World Pellegrino and Acqua Panna competition for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
The winners of the prestigious global gastronomy contest were announced on June 25 in Singapore.
With a slight margin from the winner, the top three were Noma Copenhagen, Denmark, the runner-up restaurant, and Asador Etxebarri from Atxondo, Spain, the third runner-up.

The British edition of Restaurant Magazine, annually publishing the world’s best-known rating of the best restaurants in the world The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, has made a guide to the most interesting restaurants and bars around the world. The first version of 50 Best Discovery included more than 1,600 establishments from 75 countries.
Russia in the 50 Best Discovery is represented by Moscow and St. Petersburg. From Moscow included 10 institutions, from St. Petersburg – seven.
